The app will aim to educate investors on the fundamental aspects of the securities market, such as the KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure, trading and settlement, mutual funds, recent market trends, and investor grievance redressal methods, among other things.
The app is accessible in two languages: Hindi and English.
The Android and iOS versions of the software are available for download from the Play Store (App link) and the App Store, respectively.
Tyagi said at the launch of the Sebi app, "This mobile app is another effort of Sebi with the goal of empowering investors with knowledge about the securities market."
